Types of Refrigerator Appliances
Looking back into the history, the refrigerator was a necessary, but not so attractive and functional home appliance. However, things have changed greatly, because lots of new models and designs appeared as the result of high demand of new home consumers. The old types of refrigerators let you select from two door freezer top models within wide range of colors and finishes to match with other appliances. On the other hand, the new models make a serious fashion statement.
Nowadays, fashionable refrigerators have become the ultimate status symbol. You can find great number of different configurations available in the market. At the top there are the French door, bottom freezer integrated models with door for ice and water, special high humidity and easy access compartments. They are obtainable in a diversity of finishes including panel-ready so you can coordinate with your cabinets.
Then come counter-depth, panel ready models which are a little bit expensive. They have doors that extend beyond the counter, but combine with kitchen cabinetry. However, the options are various from single-function (either refrigerator or freezer) models that are counter height and depth. As a special addition, they contain wine storage units.
In general, which model you are going to choose depends mostly on your budget. High price includes high style. Still, if your budget doesn’t allow you to buy the top model, opt for the one that is equipped with most of the features of the top-end models, and which is energy efficient, and great looking at the same time.
